Stacey Barrett Koog is the author of Stalked Beyond Her Horizons. In her writings she has personally experienced the turmoil and devastation of being stalked by a former boyfriend.. She hopes that through her writings it can help those effectively who may have experienced it or are currently going through a similar situation.

Stacey is the daughter of the late Artis W. Barrett and Mary L. Barrett. She grew up in Dallas, Texas where she attended David W. Carter Highschool. She went on to Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas where she majored in Social Science with a minor in Sociology. Stacey is a member of the Profound and Distinct Sorority Zeta Phi Beta Inc. She has 1 son and is currently divorced and now resides in Dallas, Texas.
